Trip to Wichita
Trip to Wichita Information Sheet and Permission Slip
Schedule:
Friday March 29
3:00-Depart from First Presbyterian Church
6:00-Arrive at Intrust Bank Arena for Winter Jam
11:00-Late night snack at The Donut Hole
11:45-Arrive at Laser Quest
Saturday March 30
7:15-Breakfast at McDonalds
8:00-Head to Clay Center
10:30-Arrive at First Presbyterian Church
We will leave Clay Center at
3:00 Friday March 29. We will drive to Wichita to attend Winter Jam. Winter Jam
is a Christian Concert featuring some of the top names in Christian music. The
concert is held at the Intrust Bank Arena, in Wichita. For more information go
to, www.jamtour.com. After
the concert we will stop by the Donut Hole. This is one of Celisa and Drew’s
favorite places in Wichita. The Donut Hole is a unique donut shop that has
become a Wichita landmark. We will spend the night playing laser tag at Laser
Quest in Wichita.
Cost:
Students will only need to
pay $50* to be able to go on the trip. They will also need money for dinner on
Friday and breakfast on Saturday. Youth have the option of packing a meal for
Friday evening if they do not want to purchase food at the concert. Youth will
also be responsible for paying for any merchandise they may want to purchase at
the concert.
*There are scholarships
available for those needing help covering the cost of the trip.
